Our Teaching Philosophy
The 3 Fundamental Pillars of SeekhoABC
Step-by-Step Structure
Structured literacy works by introducing skills in a clear and carefully planned sequence. SeekhoABC does not jump from sounds directly to sentences. Every new skill builds on the skills introduced before it.

Multisensory Approach
Children do not simply look at English words. They interact with them. SeekhoABC combines structured literacy with multisensory learning through sound, visuals, touch and movement. Children trace letters, listen to sounds, drag sounds into words, match words with pictures and practise reading as they move through activities.
Independent Mastery
SeekhoABC does not rush the learning process. Children receive opportunities to practise each structured literacy concept before progressing to more advanced skills. This helps build confidence and encourages children to become increasingly independent as their English reading ability develops.
The 5 Core Activities
Learn Sounds and Trace Letters
Recognising English letter sounds and shapes, including digraphs and vowel teams.
Blends and Word Practice
Blending sounds, decoding words, practising spelling patterns and gradually understanding more complex word structures.
Red Words
Recognising commonly used exception words that do not completely follow regular phonics patterns.
Sentence Reading
Identifying familiar phonics patterns within words, reading complete sentences and developing comprehension.
Book Reading
Reading with greater fluency and understanding while gradually building the confidence and stamina required for connected stories.
Each activity introduces and reinforces specific reading skills in a format children enjoy. The more they practise, the more they learn.
